Freelance Quantity Surveyor

An award-winning luxury interior fit out main contractor are looking to add a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to their growing team in London.

The role of the Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a leading main contractor who specialise in fit-out projects and work within a wide range of sectors including luxury hotels, prime residential, museums.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the project budget to meet commercial targets and provide support to the Project Manager.

The role will include managing and training the projects commercial resources, providing feedback to Business Development, the procurement of subcontractors and pre and post contract duties. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be reporting to the Commercial Director.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Senior Quantity will ideally have:

• Experience on new build and fit out type projects
• Experience dealing with sub-contractors and clients
• Surveying qualification or construction related discipline
• Excellent communication skills
• Good IT skills- Excel, Word & Outlook
• Willing to travel to sites
• Ideally experience within the interiors industry
