Construction Project Manager

A confident and hands on Construction Project Manager, is now needed to join an established Construction Fit Out organisation, supporting them on their Retail, Commercial and CAT A projects.

Office is close to Walsall. The Project Manager will travel as part of this role.

The Project Manager’s Role

The successful Project Manager will join a tight-knit team, who have clients in the Retail sector needing immediate support. The Project Manager will work on high street shops and well-known brands, in the fit out of their new stores.

A large majority of these projects are in the West Midlands; however, clients do require support across the United Kingdom. Some are new build, but a majority are existing buildings.

With opportunity to work on several projects at one time, you can expect to work on contract values from £125K up to £5m.

The experienced Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the client is kept up to date, communicate with the onsite contractors and ensure costs and timescales are maintained.

• Clear evidence of Retail construction experience
• Fast track shopfitting is preferred
• Fit out background in general
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Looking for a permanent position
• SMSTS/CSCS Card
• Provide a hands-on approach
• Excellent organisational & team management skills
• Good computer skills
