This is a role in which you’re background can be varied / flexible – construction experience is necessary but attitude and personality fit is the overriding factor here. If you’re currently a Junior Quantity Surveyor, trainee Quantity Surveyor or have ½ years construction experience and is something you’d like to get into this could be perfect.

The client are a well-established, small residential building and refurbishment contractor is looking to add a keen an aspiring Junior Contracts manager to their team in Cobham.

The successful Junior Quantity Surveyor will join a team specialising in bespoke residential luxury one off builds and refurbishment projects throughout Surrey, the home counties and London.

The company has a great pipeline of works, having secured this years pipeline and are now going into mid 2026. They’re offering a permanent, stable and long-term opportunity with great support and development prospects.

The Junior Quantity Surveyor’s role

The successful Junior Quantity Surveyor will be based in the office and largely shadowing one of the current QS team, there will be a lot of learning admin, and getting to grips with software and processes.

If you fancy training to become a Quantity surveyor, estimator or a buyer – the company will help you achieve this.

You’ll be working on some incredible projects throughout London and the Home Counties.

Your day to day will largely be in line with a QS or the director you are shadowing whether that be on site or in the office.

The entire purpose of this role is to train you up to be a fully-fledged part of the commercial team with your own roster of projects.

The Junior Quantity Surveyor – Requirements

This is relatively flexible

• Construction experience
• Process driven and organised
• Good IT skills
• A valid driving license

• £20,000 – £40,000
