A forward thinking SME developer are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their small but dedicated team.

The client is a well-established, small residential developer, they are keen to add an aspiring Quantity Surveyor to their team in Hertfordshire.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will join a team specialising in bespoke one-off developments, plots of 3 / 4 luxury homes and small apartment builds, all throughout North London and the Home Counties.

The company has an incredible pipeline of works, having secured multiple projects for this year and many more going into next year. It’s a mix of developments they own, spec builds and 1 or 2 client projects. They’re offering a permanent, stable and long-term opportunity with great support and development prospects.

The Quantity Surveyor’s role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be based in their office 3 /4 days of the week and will be working closely with their Senior QS / Commercial director and a director – It’s a real opportunity to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in on some awesome proejcts

You’ll be involved in Procurement, enquiries, pricing packages, issuing subcontracts, arrange pre start meetings etc.

You’ll also be working closely with one of the directors as they do all of the design work.

Your day to day will largely be in line with a QS or the director you are working with, whether that be on site or in the office.

The Quantity Surveyor – Requirements

• 3+ years post grad QS Experience
• High-End Construction experience is a bonus
• Process driven and organised
• Good IT skills
• A valid driving license
