Quantity Surveyor – Kent

An established small-scale consultancy with a strong reputation in the construction industry is seeking a motivated and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team inNorth Kent. This opportunity involves a variety of sectors, including Residential, Hotels, Commercial, Rail, and Industrial, giving the successful candidate a diverse range of projects to work on.

Quantity Surveyor Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage projects from concept to completion with guidance from senior staff when required. Initially, you will be engaged in an apartment fit-out project in central London, enabling you to apply your skills effectively in a dynamic setting.

You will be responsible for:

• Pre and post contract duties
• Cost management and reporting
• Collaborating with team members
• Engaging with clients and stakeholders
• Completing project documentation and compliance

The Quantity Surveyor Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
• MRICS, or currently working towards it
• Previous experience within a PQS / consultancy environment
• Strong knowledge of pre and post contract processes
