Senior Quantity Surveyor

A leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy are looking to add a experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to their growing teams in Leeds or Newcastle.

The role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a large and leading multi-disciplinary consultancy who have offices Globally. The Quantity Surveying team proactively manage the cost of a building project, from the initial design stages through to the building’s completion.

As a company they cover a range of sectors including Commercial, Data Centres, Residential, Education, Healthcare and Retail but initially the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be delivering projects within Higher Education, Residential and Laboratories schemes.

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, they will be running projects from concept to completion and supporting, mentoring and help to develop the junior staff on site.

This is a perfect opportunity for a driven Senior Quantity Surveyor who is keen for promised progression within a growing company.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

• BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
• MRICS or currently working towards
• Experience within a private practice / consultancy
• Strong Pre and post contract knowledge
• Client facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery
• Able to build long-term relationships  
• A track record managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
