Senior Quantity Surveyor

A small but well-established construction consultancy are looking to add an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to their growing team in South London, near Purley.

The role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a small Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancy who complete projects in Surrey, Kent and London and have a team of 10 Quantity Surveyors.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee the delivery of Education and Residential schemes. Including the involvement of a large project in Surrey, 3 million square feet of academic, research, residential and sports spaces.

The role will include the Senior Quantity Surveyor running projects from concept to completion and supporting, mentoring and help to develop the junior staff on site.

This is a perfect opportunity for a driven Senior Quantity Surveyor who is keen for promised progression within a growing company.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

• BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
• MRICS or currently working towards
• Experience within a private practice / consultancy
• Strong Pre and post contract knowledge
• Capable of supporting with the management of a team and mentoring junior colleagues
• Proficient in the use of IT including Microsoft software, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
