Senior Quantity Surveyor

An award-winning construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a long-term project based near Crawley. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, including commercial, aviation, retail, and education, with a focus on infrastructure projects valued between £40 million and £100 million.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

The role involves overseeing cost planning during the early stages of projects and managing contracts effectively. The successful Quantity Surveyor will also contribute to risk management and ensure that financial performance meets the client’s expectations.

You will be responsible for:

• Cost planning and cost reporting
• Contract management
• Risk management
• Pre and post contract management
• Collaborating with a small team to deliver projects efficiently

The Senior Quantity Surveyor requirements

• BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
• Experience working on NEC Contracts
• Proven experience on infrastructure projects
• Strong cost planning and reporting skills
• Risk management experience
• MRICS or currently working towards
• Experience within a private practice or consultancy
• Robust pre and post contract knowledge
