Associate Quantity Surveyor

An award-winning construction consultancy based in central London is seeking an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will work on long-term infrastructure projects near Crawley, with a focus on budgets ranging from £40 million to £100 million, covering a diverse portfolio including commercial, residential, aviation, retail, and education sectors.

Associate Quantity Surveyor Role

As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the cost planning in the early stages of infrastructure projects, leveraging your extensive experience in contract management. You will be responsible for:

• Cost planning and cost reporting
• Managing NEC contracts
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies
• Providing pre and post contract knowledge to ensure project success
• Supporting a small team to deliver exceptional results

The Associate Quantity Surveyor requirements

• BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
• Proven experience working on NEC Contracts
• Previous experience on Infrastructure projects
• Strong cost planning and cost reporting experience
• Solid risk management experience
• MRICS or currently working towards it
• Experience within a private practice / consultancy
• Comprehensive pre and post contract knowledge
